User Story: Charles Post


Task: Create a documentary-style campaign featuring avian ecologist and filmmaker Charles Post, exploring how birdwatching, nature, and distraction-free tools, like reMarkable, support focus and calm in everyday life.

The goal was to position reMarkable as a tool that supports intentional thinking and creativity by removing distractions and creating space for focus.

The campaign balanced cinematic storytelling with adaptable content formats across brand, paid, and organic channels.

Role: Art Direction & Design

Approach: Developed the visual direction and campaign system across paid and organic channels, shaping a calm and immersive visual language inspired by birdwatching and the surrounding landscape.

Conducted interviews with Charles to uncover the emotional core of the story, focusing on birdsong, attention, and the relationship between nature and wellbeing.

Attended the shoot in Lofoten to support on-location storytelling and ensure visual consistency across film and stills.

Contributed to the edit, helping shape pacing and tone to balance contemplative documentary storytelling with product clarity.
